Create Open and Decentralized Digital
Ecosystems With Beckn

what is

beckn (short for beckn protocol) is an open, interoperable and universal transaction protocol to enable a decentralized digital economy. it is a set of open interoperable specifications that helps re-imagine the world of consumer-provider transactions. beckn protocol unbundles the idea of 2-sided platform-centric systems into multiple 1-sided platforms/apps forming an open network connected via the interoperable protocol layer. when implemented, this protocol allows consumers and providers to connect to these open networks using any platform of their choice and transact with each other.

beckn protocol’s layered design allows independent evolution of its components. it allows building of rich integrated experiences in consumer applications while simultaneously allows independent services to be built and plugged into the open network infrastructure.
